help us vote the scum bags out all over. should have voted for ron paul years ago.
as soon as we end all the wars and policing, it will maybe get cheaper... lol
yea, govt is ripping us off, always has.
you have to save cause SS won't cover anything, don't want to end up like some others I know...
I did vote for him (Ron Paul) all the way back in 2008. Back when I was still an idealist. Seeing the showing he made I knew he was never going to get the nomination but i still gave it a go again in 2012. The money machine was ALWAYS going to be behind someone else.
I don't think it'll EVER get cheaper man. Not until there's a reckoning.
And I have saved like a banshee for retirement. I've got about 3 times what avg. person saves at 67, already at my age. But I don't have great genes in my family. My father died in his late 50's and so did his father. I never figured to live past 60 (not that I'm giving up EVER). I'm just looking at the odds. You can understand why I'm not making EXTENSIVE plans past 60. And why I want to retire early.
Good planning! I think things got cheaper for a while, like around clinton time for a while, remember everything getting "Biggie Sized"... houes, cars, drinks, etc... It fell apart thereafter and it's being mini sized. But since the 1960's or 70's we've been falling apart... printing press in the hands of politicians, guaranteed outcome.
you could become poor and in the hands of the govt. I wouldn't.
The acceptable amount I expect is 130 bucks per month. Because that's the average cost of additonal health cover on top of free health insurance, for 65+yo.
It's cheaper if you're younger than that.
I wish!👍
That's what I think infuriates Americans. They name their price and they always raise it. And what are you going to do when the option many times is quite literally life or death.🤬
That’s why countries with affordable healthcare matter. In places like Taiwan, healthcare costs are low enough that people can actually save and retire without medical bills destroying their finances.
I've actually considered retiring to another country.
Here's a concept. Eat healthy and stay fit.
Healthcare costs so much because there are so many obese. And virtually every health problem is linked to obesity.
Oh, the simple mind of a youngin.😆👍

If all commerce took place between doctor and patient and not insulated by government and insurance, healthcare would priced much lower, like the people who work on your car and home.
I cry because people still vote Democrat. Before the Democrats I had healthcare that cost 75 bucks a month for my whole family and it covered everything. No deductable, not copay, nothing. They fixed me for free.
I'm torn on this one. Because I do thing Obamacare overall HURT America. But one thing it fixed that NEEDED to be fixed was the pre-existing conditions. So it was bittersweet.
It made preexisting conditions from non-existent to unaffordable. And cheap healthcare for millions unaffordable with it.
Like I said, overall it HURT America. While i don't agree wholeheartedly with your assessment, I di agree with the spirit. If you had a pre-existing condition before you were just f***ed (I know I was one of the unlucky ones).
LOL, welcome to your "American dream" sunny.
"Sunny".😆
That is why people come to u. S. But should do. Process.
Most people who retire in the U. S. also receive Medicare, which covers most healthcare costs.
That's great if you make it to that age. 👍 Meanwhile if you got ahead so you could retire early it does you no good. Ya know what I mean.
You save up then move to an another country to retire……
The trick is to secure a good Healthcare plan
Any inside advice on that @exitseven?
😆😆👍
