Why does Donald Trump always insult his political opponents?

He has been doing this for years but the most recent example I can think of is Thomas Massie.

He called Thomas Massie “terrible” and a “totally ineffective loser.”

At least Thomas Massie doesn’t have a criminal record.

It's what you do when you don't have proper arguments or lack the intelligence to articulate them in a proper way.

I have no clue who that Thomas guy is but if he's that bad, you could simply bring up some points and explain why he is so bad, instead of throwing meaningless insults at him.

Because America let's him, as simple as that. In any other Western country such language would be called out as inappropriate conduct fir a man in office by everyone, including his supporters.

because they called him NAMES and tried to destroy trump REPUTATION, so he insulted them back. one of the mean things he does, that people like, is that he doesn't 'pretend to talk nice.' he talked same as we do! that is why people relate to trump.

about 'criminal' trump was actually innocent in criminal courts. even the civil judge was supposed to give a 'civil court ruling' so his ADDED words are invalid as if no judge ever wrote them.

The funniest thing is he always takes his own weaknesses.

Corrupt? Sleepy? Child predator? Stupid? The list goes on. Anything he calls someone out for tends to be a flaw of his own. Like a strange confession.
