That happens a lot, not necessarily because they don't like it but because it conflicts with their worldview that happens to tell them anything from an unauthorative source is fake. Authoritative sources being the ones the establishment approves off.

The fake news media has lost all its credibility over the last 10 years. They have lost numerous lawsuits for broadcasting inaccurate stories and one or more of the networks will lose it;s FCC license soon.
