Feminism because the economic argument falls apart under scrutiny. Historically, people raised large families through far worse financial crises, and even today, wealthy Nordic countries with massive government childcare subsidies and strong safety nets are seeing their birth rates crater. The root issue is an ideological crisis, not a financial one. Decades of feminist messaging have systematically dismantled traditional family structures, trading mutual interdependence for hyper-independence and corporate ladders. It has created a cultural rift where men and women are socialized to view each other as political adversaries rather than cooperative partners. You cannot solve a 'relationship recession' with economic policies when modern culture openly celebrates solitary lifestyles and treats the foundation of coupling as oppressive.

The express goal of feminism has for almost half a century been to destroy the nuclear family, and they have largely succeeded.

I agree they’ve done immense damage, but I don’t think they have entirely succeeded. You can only fight biology, human nature, and the need for family stability for so long before the cracks start showing.

Hyper-isolated individualism has left a lot of people empty, lonely, and disconnected. As the cultural and economic consequences of broken homes become harder to ignore, more people are starting to question the script and return to traditional models of faith, marriage, family, and responsibility.

The nuclear family remains the most time-tested foundation for social stability. The foundation has been damaged, but it has not been destroyed. The pushback is just beginning.

@Snakeyes7, "Death by a thousand cuts" is the perfect way to put it. Feminism systematically replaces mutual respect and family cooperation with division and hyper-independence. It reframes everyday social interactions between men and women as political power struggles rather than cooperative partnerships. Polite society relies on traditional, stable structures, and breaking those down leaves everyone isolated.

Economy I think they pushed women to work and be independent to lower the pay of the people working and have more people working also pushed women tp drink and smoke then now they're trying to push men to wear make and shave all of their body it's just a matter of money more than feminism.

If affordability were the root cause, billionaires would have dozens of children and the wealthy Nordic welfare states would have baby booms. They don't. Money changes the logistics of having children, but ideology changes the desire to have them. Feminism redefined success from building a family to climbing a corporate ladder. You cannot fix a crisis of desire with an economic subsidy.
