Honestly, going to the police about the blackmail is, like, the very least of your worries. Let me take a Wilde guess - you have been ruled by your penis instead of the Lord God Almighty and been sneaking around in the bushes at night and touching yourself while staring through her bedroom window. Because you just couldn't keep your eyes—or your hands—to yourself, the Lord is totally gonna send you on a permanent little vacation. While your soul is out wandering around in the dark like a creeper pervert, Satan himself is gonna sneak up right behind you. He's gonna take a pair of rusty, blood-stained garden shears and literally snip all your fingers right off! Ope! And then, while you're screaming at your little stumps, he's gonna jam two glowing-hot coals straight into your eyeballs so you can never be a peeping Tom ever again! Make sure you repent before the screaming starts! Have a super blessed day!
Hopefully he wasn't peeping Lizzo !!!
Soooo many questions and soooo few details there... but whatever you're worried about getting out, has no need to be let out by the police. You have to decide how desperate you are for whatever the big secret is to be kept a secret... might be worth the risk
She’s a girl I’ve treated badly in the past. She told me I was going to have to become a transgender woman
@Asker Dude. Same thing happened to me: the other night I stole a car with two guys I didn't know. I knew it was bad right away and I considered turning myself in. The two other thieves traced me back today and said that I would have to become a midwestern sales representative for Unilever if I ever talked.

Save everything. Get her to continuously incriminate herself deeper. Get her terms straight for how much money, when etc. Ask why she doing it. Get lots of communication in email and texts along with some recordings (check state laws on that). Then tell her if she releases the information you will show that she was blackmailing you which means you both go to prison. Mexican standoff.
Well it sounds like your misdeeds are catching up on you.
Your choices are to pay her and eventually she will turn you in anyway or just turn yourself in. Ow and not pay her.
Me personally… I would never pay a blackmailer NEVER!!

If you are guilty of a crime, and going to the police will reveal your crime and lead to your going to prison, you are in a catch-22. However, if you pay her, she may continue to blackmail you for more money.

Are we talking embarrassment, humiliation, job loss, a huge cash settlement in a civil lawsuit, or jail time in a criminal case? Severity matters.
Call her bluff. Tell her that if she exposes you, she will be exposing herself as a blckmailer. If you go down you will take her with you.
Ultimately don't give in to anything then its pointless to blackmail you.
Saw the comment of what she's asking of you. here's the thing, she's gonna try and make you do it and then once you did that she's going to have permanently destroyed your life and humiliated you anyway. And then she can do whatever she was blackmailing you with anyway.
Like others said, if you can play along to gather evidence she's doing this to you go for it so you have some evidence and go to the police anyway. Or alternatively shut her out completely. But playing along with blackmail is not a winning move.
The other option is to man up and own your choices. Honesty is the easiest solution to blackmail.
Then go and talk to a criminal attorney first.
Get off the internet and move to a different country
You need provable evidence.
So I guess you have something to hide...
