not sure of the exact number, however... parts of the genetic code in humans, can be activated in animals...

could it be possible that whichever specific coded instruction gives you a "conscience" as well as whichever specific coded instruction provides a host for such "conscience" is activated in an animal?

Of course that would be a more scientific and biological answer but in all the possibilities in nature you could have been anybody's sperm.
