Why are white people (especially white women) so fond of dogs?

I'm asking because I don't see this to the same extent among other groups. The ancestors of Aryan speaking peoples had already domesticated dogs long before they domesticated horses and spread their languages across Europe and India. Broadly speaking, the relationship between Europeans and domesticated animals seems to go back further than that of many East Asian or African societies.

For example, many white women proudly identify as dog mom? and would rather be a dog mom than be with a man. Is this mainly a result of modern industrial society, or do its roots go much deeper historically?

I think people of all races like dogs, but white people tend to have a higher pain tolerance and a higher tolerance for unpleasant smells, and this has been proven through race based tests done in laboratories.

Many people want dogs but do not buy them because they cannot tolerant unpleasant smells or cannot tolerate the time and effort it takes to raise and care for a dog. Both the emotional cost and the physical or financial cost of having a dog.

My guess on why white people have a higher pain tolerance is that they eat more eggs than other ethnic groups. But this is just a guess.

It's a scientific observation, but people would still call it racist. East Asians are generally the least prone to body odor, and many of them say that the scent of white people reminds them of rotten cheese.

Almost certainly dogs were domesticated before equines, bovines, or any other livestock. This is because the relationship between humans and dogs goes back at least 15,000 years (*) which is at least 3,000 years before The Neolithic Revolution which was the dawn of civilization that followed the invention of agriculture.

(*) Recent evidence suggests the connection goes back even further to at least 17,500 years ago.

Lots of people want dogs for companionship. They are loyal and loving. They adore their owners. Many are smart and can be taught useful tasks.

A reason why some women may want a pet dog is because dogs are protective. They warn of danger, scare off predators, and will give their life protecting their loved ones from harm.

It is definitely true that they are protective, but they are not loyal in the way people often claim; rather, they are devoted. If someone other than the owner starts feeding a dog, its loyalty to its owner will decrease.

Dogs originated in northeast Asia as tamed wolves. They spread west along trade routes. We love them and don't eat them. Wolves are pack animals Like early humans and we just got along right from the beginning. As I understand it, the wolf species that became dogs no longer exists in nature.

This isn't racism; it's an observation. Eating dog meat is considered normal in some parts of China, but if you tried to do that in the West, there would be a huge outcry over animal rights. Yet doesn't a cow's life matter too?

On the other hand, I've seen cases of dogs being mistreated in places such as Southeast Asia, and most people seemed to find it amusing. The ones who objected were almost always Westerners.
