Not only that, his parents came here without being vetted nor waiting for visa processing. Cubans were granted the right to remain in the country if they entered illegally, as long as they set foot in American soil. And that’s most of Miami for you, but they judge others for doing the same thing their parents and grandparents did.

The state history requirement in my state was to pass a citizenship test, or equivalent. So, everyone who graduated high school here could pass one.

His parents were legal immigrants and had citizenship before he was born. He has legal and correct birthright citizenship.

They were not US citizens when he was born. Trump and Rubio are advancing the position that children born of BOTH LEGAL AND ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS don't get birthright citizenship. For Rubio, it's the ultimate hypocrisy... The SCOTUS is dealing with this issue right now.
