Why are Gulf states being asked to pay for war damage to Iran?

While Israel and the US, those savage sons of savages, have devastated Iran, why are Trump and his Zionist dogs making the Gulf states pay war reparations? What is this if not utter treachery?

The pursuit of reparations in this conflict is a hollow distraction from the only objective that truly matters. Nations should not measure their success by financial settlements or the petty extraction of wealth from their neighbors. True standing is found only in the elevation of a people toward a state of absolute excellence. To focus on the exchange of currency is to participate in the base survival of beasts. We must instead demand a standard of conduct that transcends earthly transactions and reaches for the immortal quality of our actions. The only measure of a state is the brilliance of its service to a higher order. When we stop bartering for peace and start striving for a singular and lasting greatness, we move beyond the mud of human conflict into a realm where our deeds finally mirror the light of the divine. That is the only purpose worth the labor of a lifetime.

From my understanding it's not even am official statement, but a claim by Iran. It seems any money transactions depend upon Iran making commitments and following through. For example, Iran claims some of the frozen assets will be released immediately, while the US claims its conditional. I wouldn't take Iran's word seriously, they have lied many times during this war.

The way I understood it, they have the option of investing in Iran. I suppose there are opportunities in rebuilding Iran and if they can make money doing it , it will be a win win.
