Well the Iran MOU text is public and Trump caved on EVERYTHING... including $300 billion in war reparations, removal of trade restrictions and unfreezing of assets.

In return, he gained agreement to talk about nuclear material. Some may recall they were talking about nuclear material in January before the war. Some with longer memories may recall the nuclear material in question didn't exist until Trump tore up the Obama-era agreement

I didn't read anything about "reparations"; I saw financing of at least $300 billion. In other words, Iran has agreed to borrow at least $300 billion from the federal reserve. Which means that Iran will at least be in part joining the US banking system. Which was probably the goal the entire time.

Was it worth the damage to the economy and all those lives lost? No, but let's not pretend that Kamala would have not done the same thing.

Trump is going to claim it's a win because now he had proof they're talking about it in response to his unprovoked attack on nonexistent evidence. It's not hard to imagine that Iran and other countries will want nukes after this, not to attack the U. S. but as a defensive measure.
I saw an episode of the show Scandal where a fake Middle Eastern country agreed to nuclear dearmorment if their major regional antagonist did the same.
In Iran's case that would be Israel and I guarantee they're keeping their nuclear capabilities.

Well we'll see if how long it lasts. Given how schizophrenic Trump acts and how incoherent he is when he talks, it's anyone's guess. He has threatened a few times to just nuke the place while other times talking about what great guys the Iran regime are. He has stated the Strait is open again only to say two hours later that it's not open. One day he says he doesn't need the oil passing through the Strait and the next day he says he does need it. One day he says that a deal is really really close. And a few hours later he's cursing out Iran demanding unconditional surrender. And the other day he said didn't care about the uranium after all. WTF? This guy is bonkers. He also notoriously reneges on his word. He wants out of the whole Iran affair, at least right now. But who knows, he may get on Truth Social in the middle of the night in one of his demented rants and call everything off and threaten to nuke them again.

Apparently the actual deal is a 60 ceasefire and then the actual peace talks will happen. I hope Trump has a plan because I just don't see Iran respecting this ceasefire, they are dishonest by nature. Maybe that's what he wants.
