Are you naturally a realist, an idealist, or a pessimist by nature?

By nature, I believe we're all idealists. Attracted, in essence, to symbols, principles and ideals.

Realism could be a layer of conscious effort, which would be flattering, because I think it's more conditioned by environment than personal choice.

And pessimism, I think there's zero choice going on nor anything natural about it, I view it as a side effect of negative experiences that haven't been compensated enough with positive experiences.

A realist. I say, type, express exactly what's on my mind. I'm blatantly honest, which has gotten me in way more shit than when I was a compulsive liar in my younger years.

Probably realist since its a mix of all of the above based on what I think is most real.
I can be an idealist but the current world makes me very pessimistic.
Really depends on what area of life were talking about and how much that depends on other people doing the right thing, since people usually don't care about what I care about even though they say they do.

But I never let idealism cloud reality or dictate decisions over it.
