How should America handle English football fans on July 4th?

On the 4th of July America will be celebrating Donald Trumps achievements. But this is going to clash with the World Cup. With hundreds of thousands of foreigners in some cities there's a risk celebrations could upset visitors especially the English.

Many Americans are calling for the English to be locked up for the day for their own safety with one person saying, "I keep ma gun under ma pillow in case the British come back, ah bin mighty nervous wit al these limeys walking around without armed escort. Thank god the French are here. "

So how should America handle the English problem on July 4th so they don't spoil Trumps big day?

I think English people should rebadge the American Revolution as the Third English Revolution and join in the celebrations.

The first English Revolution was of course cutting off Charles I head in 1649. This desperately needs a name change from the English Civil Ware because it was a revolution against the despotic Stuarts.

The second English Revolution was the Glorious Revolution in 1688 when England saw off the cowardly last Stuart James II.

Which brings us to the third. Before the American Revolution they were all Englishmen. So once again it was Englishmen revolting yet again.

So it is appropriate for the English to celebrate the third and final revolution. And to get out and wave the revolutionary Flag of England to celebrate.

It just needs a little bit of accurate interpretation and rebadging is all to make it a non problem.

For myself I celebrate the 4th of July as the anniversary of the Battle of Le Hamel when the Aussies started the final push to win WW1 for the Allies.

Firstly, there was an old one liner that went around some time ago, claimed that many Brits had a portrait of Washington in their W. C. s as nothing made an Englishman poo quicker than the sight of the man.
Maybe we should hold the after match party at the infamous reflecting pool and encourage taking relief from the spirits and libation in the offensive water feature. Perhaps uric acid will have a positive effect on the algae bloom.
There was a time when I might have advocated for surrender to the King's men, but the situation there currently doesn't seem very stable. Just stay north of the Mason-Dixon Line and it'll be OK. Actually I think they'll be fine in any major city as it's the rural areas that are typically full of cartoon characters. Pretty sure DFW'd be happy to see 'em again.

They might be happy about that. It is a good excuse to have a mega big food party after their match. I would assume many athletes are in that lifestyle because of the parties they get to have after each athletic event.
