Trump tends to exaggerate or speak grandiose. I think the worst part of the war is his incessant micromanaging and social media nonsense. The US and Israeli militaries kicked serious butt. However, Trump got obsessed with a "deal" and turned a decisive military success into a diplomatic disaster with horrible optics. I'm convinced the war will eventually resume (we still see back and forth strikes to this day). The weak link here is Trump and Vance. Let the military do its thing and stfu.

The issue here isn't the war, it's Trumps handling. My opinion is the current phase is likely influenced by midterms. We both know if Democrats have significant wins, there will be plenty of investigations and likely impeachment. It's my opinion the war will resume afterwards. Honestly, Israel had it right, regime change is a preferable option. It's likely the only way Trump will succeed in his biggest goal. The other 3 (proxies, navy, missiles) have largely been successful at degrading their abilities.
