Major Jason Watson 17 years in service held sign saying Trump should resign or be impeached for illegal wars. He was arrested and faces court martial hearing and will not receive a Pension , so in all , he gave up 17 years in service.
Is he a zero or a hero?
Hero: was willing to be thrown out of service and lose pension for what he believed.
Zero : will be court martialed and lose everything he had worked for, no pension. Certain companies won't hire him after. Should there be a public court martial where they rip off all his badges and pins?

Is Air Force Major Jason Watson a hero or a zero for protesting Trump?
There’s a word used to describe people who oppose an elected president and instigate an attempt against the government. That word is “traitor”
And it’s not in defense of Trump himself but the office Trump represents.
As things stand no matter who takes up office, opposition can spend 4 years crying for a resignation and impeachment and cheering for the enemy during a war, because the precedent has been set. And that’s dangerous.
An office of power needs to have a certain level of reverence, that doesn’t mean be above criticism and challenge as these are the cornerstones of democracy.
But disrespecting it is disrespecting the foundation of your own nation and putting its unity at risk. That’s why America feels so divided today
@Just_Ken And, as former Republican Congressman Joe Walsh says: "a traitor".
"We have to anticipate and prepare for what the president of our own country is going to do when he attacks our elections... This guy is a traitor. The guy in the White House is a traitor."
You still don’t get it. You are the traitor for saying that. Not because you’re wrong. But because he’s the one in the white house. That’s how it works. And the congressman is a traitor as well. That’s my whole point. The sanctity of the office itself is more important than your opinion on who holds it. That’s the only way a democracy survives
Yeah, active duty military make a deal when they accept a commission or sign an enlistment contract. Thou shalt not actively and publicly participate in politics. That is communicated clearly at the outset and the reasons are put in writing. Separating the military from clashing with the civilian government they take orders from is common sense and a time honored practice in any Democracy.
I get why this Major was disgusted by the filth currently disgracing the White House and destroying the Constitution. But he violated the terms of his commission. If he had resigned first he would have been free to say whatever he wants about the Orange Man Baby. We can't let this grow into a military coup culture as much as I'm inclined to support that idea in the case of tRump and MAGA.
I wonder if he protested every other war since WW2. Something the dingbats who keep saying that nonsense don’t want to talk about is how congress hasn’t passed an official declaration of war since 1942. Once again, the looney left just hates Drumpf despite the fact that he has done nothing that popular democrats haven’t done before. TDS is real and this is just another example.

This is something that most people are not willing to do. Even though based on the uniform code of military Justice, they not only should do it but they are actually obligated to do it. I have to admire his principles and his integrity for refusing to be involved in illegal behaviors. But he has really created injury for himself going forward. The military will not be kind to this man.
Id be willing to bet he didn't think there would be consequences such as losing his job or pension. Maybe he imagined hed be the next colon kapernick. He should have left the military first, then protested.

What do you call people who pardon hundreds of them?
@goaded you call him the president of the united states.
