We fought a war over this shit. 680,000 people died in that war. We've murdered our fellow citizens over the color of their skin or their religion. We fought and died at coal mines, railroads, factories, and trucking companies to take some small measure of power from fat greedy Oligarchs. We've sent the children of our poor to die in countless wars to seize the resources of other people for our Oligarchs. And we have a proud history of shitting on every new group of immigrants to show up on our shores.
