Is it normal to feel offended when others reject my idea of beauty?

I have offended hundreds of people by having a different definition of beauty than other people.

And if you think beauty is universally standard, just look at the cultural differences between Chinese standards of beauty and European standards of beauty.

In university, a very articulate black guy told us that the African standard of beauty is totally different from the American standard of beauty.

Not being a biologist or psychologist, I believe my mind chooses visual features that my physical genes consider to be genetically beneficial to me producing healthy children.

One example is that the men I consider good looking, are rarely considered good looking by others, but they always score extremely high on I. q. Tests.
