No. We love hearing that. The person who created this meme just doesn't get it.

Basically, we just don't like hearing 'you look better without makeup because it makes us feel like 1. We did a horrible job with our makeup and the time we invested was all for nothing and 2. That even if we feel better with makeup, we should probably not use it because it makes us look less attractive. We want to feel attractive regardless of if we are wearing or not.

So a better way of saying this and still getting your point across is simply by saying "I think you look EVEN BETTER without makeup."

I wouldn’t say that it’s disliked but I would say that if a woman is insecure about herself naturally then she’s going to have a problem with you saying that she’s naturally beautiful.


Just because she’s not confident enough that she doesn’t know how to take a compliment, I would know, I am one of those women sometimes.


Personally sometimes I hate being called beautiful bc I don’t think I am. It’s my own insecurities.
