This is geared more toward women who are in relationships or are married. My wife, God bless her, Tells me that i am full of shit, or i must be blind when i tell her that to me, she's the most beautiful woman on the planet.

I am quite confident to the point of boarderline arrogant… soooo that being said. I am average by standard. But in my mind I am beautiful 🤩…I don’t give a crap what others think my positive attitude make up of my inner and outer beauty.

maybe tell her what it is you find her beautiful? In details? What traits you love about her? what brings out her beauty?

Because other women have set near impossible ideals for women to live up to. I don't know if my wife believes me when I say she is the most beautiful woman I have ever beheld. But she no longer wears any make up at all (she used to wear very light make up) she occasionally wears lipstick when we go out to dinner. I say it is other women because it is. Men don't like make up and yet women feel they have to wear it. For other women. Nearly all beauty standards come from other women. Not men. Most men's beauty standards every woman on earth can do. Dress nicely (and demure/modestly) and don't wear make up (or if you wear make up very little) that is very easy to do.

High beauty standards that we can't live up to
I find myself attractive and at times cute or sexy but not beautiful. Thats just another level. So yea i wouldn't believe those who tell me that either. My current boyfriend is the only one to not have gone overboard with the beautiful and stuff. But he does say i have beautiful eyes and so on. I dont really believe that either
upbringing, false modest environment, not possible to meet beauty standards...
Well some of us have been abused by our parents who kept telling us we are ugly and worthless when we were a kid. You grow up with that mindset wherever you go.
Because of all the beauty magazines with their perfectly make-uped women and photoshop images that place ridicolous high standards to reach.
Well we are our own worst critic and there's really no one more critical of us then ourselves.
it's a subjective opinion. accepting other peoples opinions and still having your own different from that is totally normal.

Because they aren't. Attractive women don't have low self esteem. Only unattractive women have low self esteem.
