Is Trump’s sudden pro-Ukraine stance a sign of weak leadership?

Donald Trump no longer has the cards and he is playing with World War III.

Russia is getting their asses handed to them by Ukraine and now he is kissing Zelensky's ass because he is frightened and scared without the Oil coming from Russia and Iran.

He had a humiliating defeat ro Iran and is forced to pay for their nuclear program.

He doesn't have the cards anymore due to his poor leadership skills.

Zelensky has all the cards now and Trump is looking weak infort of all the world leaders while they laugh at him.

I find Trump gave Putin the opportunity to make peace with Ukraine without losing Putin's credibility. Zelensky was willing to accept loss of Crimea and part of Donbas, but Putin rejected and came up with unrealistic demands.
As much I think Trump is a senile man with Peter Pan syndrome, however there is huge Military-Industrial complex that wanted this peace at this moment too. Now priorities have changed, EU part of NATO proved it's capable to supply Ukraine without US and even increase pressure on Russia with deep strike capabilities of Ukraine. Believe me or not, Ukraine couldn't do anything against Russia without material and financial support since Ukrainian chemical and military industry was primary target for Russian missiles and got mostly destroyed 2022-23
US has other problems than Russia since Israel led on US in a proxy conflict with Iran just to grab some land in Lebanon.

Trump is desperate to latch himself onto perceived strongmen. For the longest time that was Putin. Now that the war outcome has changed, the turncoat is starting to suck up to Zelensky. It’s just pathetic.

He has gone back and forth on this so many times it is weird (like everything Trump does) If he sees that most of the world is behind Ukraine (which it is) he is going to want to stay with what is popular.

Trump has supported Ukraine the whole time. He was the one that arranged NATO to take over the funding for the war.

NATO hasn’t taken over funding the war. NATO has no role here. Europe has just cleared a 90 billion Euros credit, on top of individual country loans and grants.
