Yeah for the most part. Just look at how they treat black America's. The people that they used to build their country.

They made hip hop, the blues, streamer university, etc.

But they get treat like shit. They made Black Wall a couple of white guys blew it up and were never arrested for it.

They took the land from the Native American's and pretend like they don't exist.

They steal from the people they exploited and use it as there on.

They say they hate them, but its not true they don't mind the Asians, Blacks, or Spanish as long as they get to treat them like a special needs child and steall their royalties and credit.

They just want to them to work under them.

Americans are very diverse. All races, ethncities, spiritual beliefs, ideologies. America is not homogeneous like most other countries. There are self-centered people but there are also kind, generous, empathetic people. Many people care very much about preserving a healthy environment.
And you can't judge Americans by the government's policies.

Some are. That is true of anywhere though. You will have good and bad people. I see it in my own community. It is not prevalent however.

Most people that I know and meet around my area are not selfish. It is quite the opposite and where the saying "Midwestern hospitality" comes from. Most are a friendly people.

Which If you see how those visiting the US for World Cup react, you will understand that we absolutely are not selfish. The countries that are selfish are the authoritarian ones that dont have basic rights like Freedom of speech.
