Yeah, it's taste to see you will go hollow and cut yourself off from people or will continue extending grace.

It's not your job to fix a person. You can burden yourself with that. And even if you couldn't help them your effort was not wasted. You showed that you are resilient enough to not go hollow and give up on yourself.

Everyone gets a mix of both and some get more good and some get more bad. Karma is a nice idea that everyone would get what they deserve but it just plain isn't reality.
