Since when has privatized health insurance and privatized healthcare in the USA not financially butt raped the people who buy the insurance and need the healthcare.

Middle men taking a cut. Insurers, brokers, reinsurance companies, Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBM's), lawyers. All of it driving up costs with zero benefit to consumers.

Denied claims as a standard business practice after people have paid the premiums for coverage. They play the delay game hoping you'll die before your case gets through the courts.

Almost no preventative measures covered. They want you to die. They don't want cancer detected until it's untreatable. So they don't have to pay for treatment.

Drug companies charging extortion level prices for life saving treatments. Making billions off the misfortune of their fellow citizens with almost zero government intervention.

300 different billing platforms in the USA that create a nightmare of chaos for doctors, hospitals, and clinics and drives up administrative cost which is also passed on to consumers. Vs a single nationwide government billing platform with one set of rules.

Pull your head out of your ass and think. The insurance industry wants to keep the profits flowing to themselves. How could the government possibly be less cost efficient than the legalized extortion we have now?

Because letting the state control it is even worse. The price won't change, it will just be paid for by taxes, which you cannot refuse to pay.

When you are forced to pay for healthcare, even if you aren't currently using it, at the threat of prison, what incentive does any of them have to do a good job.

In other words, you essentially want hospitals to run like the DMV and you won't be able to get any medical attention for months after you tell them you need it. Just ask Canada and Britian.

I have asked Canada. I have relatives in PEI and Nova Scotia. They're happy with the Canadian healthcare system. Have you ever even spoken to anyone from Canada about their healthcare system?

Have it a basic nessesity and floor for society. Avoid the let them eat cake guillotine whitch we official crossed already.

Have the insurance companies sell their workforce and infrastructure at cost to the government and make out like bandits or hold out and make a few pennies more with death forever in the shadow.

@NaultD i lost hope under obama in that they used the system to bail out the economy… anytime govt touches things the cost goes up… see education as well, equally jacked. I suspect society solution is to lower quality and have premium va budget supply.
I talked w two drs that left adter obama… wasn't worth working. Not putting all blame there, Obama era was reaction to decades of cost increases.
Other countries provide same care cheaper… we could… we won't. Our drug and sickness industry is hige part of economy… try to whack it down and get a depression.

So i really dont know… once things arw fd up its hard to un f. Maybe a full collapse but thats also costly.

Another option may be a deal w cheaper country in some way.

I like rdk jr approach but do that x 10 to cleanup our filthy food and poison industry. We have a lot of work to do.

Visit china france and Canada to get contrast.

Note china is better in ways because it is so controlled so that people dont need medicine. The answer is to reduce the cost imho. But good freaking luck, we usa are as vrain washed as humans can get. With ai and phones there is little hope unless govt restricts marketing, drug pushing by pharmaceutical companies.
