for most of my adult life i was below poverty line. earning minimum wage except a few jobs.
but recently lower class but not poor. i feel poor! but above poverty line. until after new york taxes. then i am really poor again.
Story of my life though will say I'm living comfortably in poverty especially considering I'm getting a social housing flat next week for myself, UK does one thing right and that be social welfare though it has issues of course.
Arguably my parents were. My parents raised 5 of us on a cops salary. And i had a chronically ill sister. But i never went hungry and our house was fulilled with love. My parents did an AMAZING job.
