What is it with people not believing someone when they say they are sufficient the rest of their life without romantic relationships and kids?

People can be sufficient enough with friends and family. Not everyone is like you

because even if they say it. it is against natural instinct. every animal makes baby. it is human nature too. they say it just to echo commie bots they read online but that is not healthy nature.

What is sabbatical?

A sabbatical is extended approved leave with a job to return to. Often for academics. I was trying to joke I was taking a break from relationships with women with an intent to return to work.

But when you stop doing hard work it is kinda hard to get back on the chain gang :)

Oh ok. What do you think of people that think other people are lying for not wanting a romantic relationship ever or ever again or just stop trying but don't mind? And what do you think about people lying about people not wanting kids?

People are entitled to think other people are lying about not wanting romantic relation ships. People are entitled to think people don't want kids. Up to them what they think.

Both the first and the second is hazardous to your wealth and health. It is validating your self through others and it doesn't work well. It is a Disney world view in my view.

Yes they are entitled but don't you think it is silly for people to think everyone thinks like them?

Absolutely. In my 20's I was in a mindset that she is a nice girl and I'm a good guy, of course we will be together forever. The last girlfriend in my 20's was a LOT of hard work.

Undoubtedly you carry your life experience through even though that life experience is long past.

90% of the effort in piece of work is in the last 10% of the job. I kinda think now that 90% of the fun in a relationship is in the first 10% of it.

So the optimization of that is to have short ones.
