Why can't people realize there have been people that have been happy their entire lives without a romantic partner?

This logic doesn't work, everyone is highly unique. For example I value mental experiences over most physical ones, so I can be perfectly content to just be in my house for a long period of time. Other people can't handle that at all. I have strong romantic needs and while I can be single I really crave being with someone special, while others don't care about romance at all.

So just stating like we don't need something because someone else doesn't is just plainly incorrect.

Yes!!! God I have been single since 2002 and damned if everyone doesn’t try to set me up or insist I need to get married to be happy.

It is so damn annoying!!! Women are the absolute worst. They try to set me up with all their single mother friends who want ATM machines. What is the deal? Why would I want that drama in my life!!!

It's true you don't need one but is so much fun to have someone to share your life with. I was happy during my single years but I'm so much happier with my husband in my life.
