Why can't some people just be single and alone?

They are getting into relationship only not to be alone. Not because they want someone but because they need. They dont discover life outside of relationship. Someone has to hold their hand. They dont know who they really are. Plus in today’s world everyone means so little to others. They will get someone better than you if they have the opportunity. Most of the relationship and dating is not even real. People want from you only money and sex and your attention. Then they get tired of you very quickly. Alone does not mean lonely

There are many reason. Some need a substitute for mommy or daddy, others are psychos who need others emotionally engaged to pour their disappointment on them, some need a partner to brag with him/her among others...
Being single is more demanding emotionally and psychologically than being in relationship. That's why singles who don't look like they are damned to be alone, are usually people with huge mental deficits and weaknesses.

Because alone doesn't automatically equate to happiness. In fact it's probably not very healthy. If I had a choice, I wouldn't do it.
