If you say that the U. S. lost the war in Vietnam, lost the war in Iraq, and lost the war in Afghanistan, right-wing guys go crazy and start making up all kinds of ridiculous excuses about how the U. S. didn't "really lose." I'm wondering if they're going to do that when we lose in Iran.
When the US finally leaves or gets kicked out of Iran, will all the right-wing guys then start saying that the US won?

Learn some history, instead of being a nut job.
Afghanistan and Vietnam were political disasters that took place years after the US military left. They saw allied nations collapse without US support. The US currently has bases and a friendly relationship with Iraq

The ARVN and ANDSF collapsed for similar reasons, though the ANDSF had far more internal issues.
The lack of US support was significant. In both cases, the US government cut support short.
There were also significant internal issues such as rampant corruption. The ANDSF for example siphoned money, faked manpower rolls, failed to pay soldiers, put incompetent leaders in high positions. There was even claims of a stolen election.

1. The US still operates in Iraq, with a friendly Iraqi government.
2. The US left Vietnam in 1973, after a process known as "Vietnamization" from 1968 to 1973 and South Vietnam collapsed without US support in 1975.
3. The US ended its combat mission in Afghanistan in 2014, after practicing "Afghanization" from 2011 to 2014. The government collapsed in 2021.
