And I actually was in the service myself. I fail to understand what the point of putting something like this on your car/ truck is. It's almost like the parent is trying to fill a void, and somehow thinks that their son or daughter's life accomplishments are their accomplishments too. Why don't we just do away with bumper stickers altogether? They serve no purpose. You don't need to put your political views or any of your family's business on display to the public. Just keep it to yourself

Do you understand parents showing their pride in their children?
Yes. Absolutely, sir. Why do they have to brag about it to the world? Can't they just be proud internally instead? Seems douchey to me
Proud parents always want to brag. That’s just the way it is.
It’s not a political position. A family supports their kid and the US military. Raising a child to serve is at least partly to the parents’ credit. There are a lot of fat, entitled, blue haired freaks out there playing computer games in their parents’ basement and b*tching that their participation trophies didn’t guarantee them a million dollar salary or handouts from US taxpayers. Nature vs nurture, y’know?
I don’t see a difference between this and “My kid is an honor student at Blahblah middle school”. Do those bug you too? Some parents are too proud of their kids who do the bare minimum or nothing at all. Other parents don’t show any kind of pride no matter what their children accomplish. I don’t see bumper stickers as excessive at all
I know this one specifically isn't political, but I see a lot of bumper stickers that are.
Annnnddddd there are those who disagree with that which is why they use bumper stickers... Clearly they feel proud and want everyone to know of their pride. I don't get it either, but, free country, free speech.
The ones that say that they are the parent of some expensive private college are worse. You just know that there kids are really borrowing the money to go there.
I guess having parents be proud of you is an experience you never had.
Easy, little dick daddy. There's no need to resort to personal attacks. You can be proud without trying to brag about it to the world
Great another homo on this site worried about my penis.
