Why are so many white people, especially straight Christian men, being portrayed as the enemy today?

Why is there so much hate against white people and a lot towards straight white men particularly straight white Christian men the fact that white people could hate their own race is crazy , white people built the modern world and the majority of the advancements we have today are because of white men.

If it wasn't for Europeans there wouldn't be much today that we have in terms of advancement in medical science , technology and many fields of science are dominated by Europeans who spread advancements in technology to much less developed countries so why is there so much hate towards white people despite the achievements non white people may take for granted , white people are not even a large percent of the global population but have contributed the most to the world in scientific and technology advancements, even technology in Asia from countries like japan and south korea and China were built of European and Ashkenazi jews technology and scientific breakthroughs , I find it crazy that self hating white people exist.
People like this exist in certain political, educational, and workplace environments. This shows the type of people who work in these environments, and, in my view, how backwards they can be. It reflects an anti-intellectual culture where people are thinking based on emotions and feelings rather than facts, which suggests a lack of intellectual understanding.

I also find it interesting regarding slavery that one of the largest slave traders in East Africa was Tippu Tip, a Muslim trader based in what is now Tanzania. This is not discussed as often as other aspects of the history of slavery. Different tribes in Africa also captured, enslaved, and sold members of rival tribes to European traders in exchange for goods, including tools. I believe these historical facts should also be acknowledged to provide a more complete understanding of the history of slavery.

I do think there is a problem whenever people treat “straight white Christian men” as though those characteristics automatically make someone oppressive, hateful or morally suspect. I reject collective guilt based on race just as strongly as I reject racial prejudice against anyone else.

At the same time, I wouldn’t turn that into the opposite racial argument and claim white people alone built civilization or deserve collective credit for modern progress. Human history is far more complicated than that.

The same applies to slavery. Europeans and Americans unquestionably participated in horrific systems of slavery, but slavery was not uniquely white or Western. African societies, Arab traders and many other civilizations participated in slavery and slave trading throughout history.

I’d rather teach the whole history and judge individuals by what they actually believe and do, not assign virtue or guilt according to skin color, sex, sexuality or religion.

What hatred? In the US there is a lot of hatred toward people who encourage violence against minorities, whether religious, racial, or sexual.
