Humans nature value rare things more than common things. Gold and platinum are obvious examples. Probably less than 1% of the world's population is a blonde hair, blue eyed females. Compare this with roughly the 95% of the world's population that has dark hair.

I definitely don’t think it’s that simple…. Rare doesn’t automatically mean “most attractive.” If that were true, then every rare physical trait would be considered the most attractive, and that’s obviously not the case.

I think attraction is influenced by a bunch of things… culture, media, where you grew up, what you’re used to seeing, and just personal preference.

Blonde hair and blue eyes have been pushed as the beauty standard in a lot of Western media for decades, so of course that’s going to shape a lot of people’s opinions. I think blonde hair and blue eyes are gorgeous, but so are dark hair and dark eyes. Beauty isn’t as simple as “rare = more attractive.

LOL. I never said that being white makes someone attractive. I said blonde hair and blue eyes are generally considered the most attractive (a characteristic most commonly found among Caucasians, of course). I then posited the theory that this is because this combination is the most rare. I then asked if people generally agreed with this theory. It's fine if you disagree with my proposed theory.
