AI is only being used to threaten the jobs of the middle class and lowest earners. We could be using AI to make healthcare more affordable and accessible for everyone. But doctors aren’t losing their jobs. In the meantime, unpaid medical bills are the leading cause foreclosures and bankruptcies.
We could be using AI for legal assistance, saving the people who the need help most save life-changing amounts of money, and possibly avoid going to prison. But lawyers aren’t losing their jobs.
We could be using AI to make the best possible business decisions, saving the working class jobs. But millionaire and billionaire CEOs, CFOs and board members aren’t losing their jobs.
Instead, machines and computers, including AI, are only being used to displace the working poor and middle class.
Have you noticed that no matter what you call the economic “system” and regardless of who is in charge, the rich always get richer and the poor always get poorer?

Actually AI is primarily used to attempt to replace highly trained professionals right now. It is not very succesful but that is the current goal.
Masters degree expertise at the press of a button for a dollar instead of thousands.
Using AI to replace someone stocking shelves, while done experimentally, is not actually profitable or being carried out to any significant degree.
So you’re suggesting that AI is replacing doctors, lawyers and corporate board members?
Cite sources.
Doctors? No. Although there is heavy investment there.
Lawyers? To an extent absolutely.
Corporate board members are tricky to answer as they are loosely separated in three categories.
People with strong connections and money. Hard to replace but do not contribute any expertise. Some can, but it just isn't worth it.
People who are being rewarded. Think politicans or others who did some favour and this is the cushy reward.
Actual competence. This is a minority of maybe one in four.
AI is absolutely seeking to replace the last category.
The fear of intelligence and needing intelligent people is and has been a major concern for many years.
Beyond your examples most research, especially raw data positions, are being replaced. Again, usually not with success. You know as well as anyone I am sure that if you train someone and then put them at a worksite every day will include some not actually work but important problem.
AI sucks at those and you still need experts to ensure it doesn't mess up the rest.
AI is being succesfully used in many areas but the costs are, ironically, higher than the employees they are replacing.
No sources? You’re speculating. It isn’t happening. Machines and computers, including AI, are being used to displace the middle class and working poor exclusively. Again, i challenge you to produce EVIDENCE that the wealthiest working people are even being threatened.
If they can’t use AI to continue to expand the gap between the haves and the have-nots, it will be abandoned entirely. I guarantee it.
What do you mean wealthiest? If a big deal to you I can of course provide credible sources that, for example, AI is being trained to perform surgery and diagnose medical conditions.
Now currently that is at a level as an aid.
Doctors are in no way the high paid professionals though.
Would you like sources for that AI use? Both have been quite viral.
AI is also largely used for programming. An actual high level skill that costs significantly more than doctors. Again with varying success. Can cite if that is somehow needed.
We can do sources mate. But I am not arguing that AI is not trained to pick X and put it at Y. I literally have robots at work that we trained to do this for demonstrations. We also have one that makes us breakfast. Pancakes are quite good. Neither is feasible for anything but novelty or research yet. But it is happening at a research level and if costs can be reduced enough might at practical levels. Costs are not nearly that low yet. Labour is quite cheap.
That's because the rich own everything. Including AI.
Ai is replacing the need for people so the elites can cull billions of people
