Why does U. K. government not help its citizens as gas price adds?

gasoline prices fell in u. k. in June until start July. but iran (you believed iran? ) fired at ships during um at the START of the 60 days, that iran agreed to let ships pass.

the ships were near oman, in the oman half, called median divide in sea law. but iran wanted to control oman side too. and oman is scared of iran the local big bully.

so we bombed iran as_ and made blockade.

now price of gasoline (called 'petrol' in English that i don't speak) added in U. K. so why does government not do the NEEDS lf its people to get that oil out of the strait? they can use the excuse of 'enforcing international trade path' or

or ask permission from oman or just do it because there is no other choice to enforce shipping path lanes?

surely users here in u. k. want gas price lower. they can write to complain to government called MP and PM to do what they need? why not?

they would rather the price go up so they can complain about price? to blame trump for what iran did? don't they know that iran *ALREDY fired at ships so they can't go! that blocking raised prices so it makes no sense to blame trump. so why not help? why not ask for help?

Its obvious. The uk is probably the most taxed country in the world.

54% of fuel price at the pump is taxed. So if the price of fuel goes up the government gets more tax.

People pay road tax and this is set to go up as the uk government intends to tax people on their mileage per year on top of their road tax. Road tax is to maintain the roads. Road tax depends on the type of car you drive such as engine size, emissions, petrol vs diesel. I used to drive a seat leon eco drive diesel and paid 0 road tax.

The UK is always hungry for taxes.

Used to be that they'd jail people for not paying their tv licence for a few months. But they decriminialised it because people were refusing to pay and the uk government like most western governments are trying to jail as few people as possible regardless of crime. They used to pretend they had vans in the 80s that could tell if yiy are watching tv but they do still have dedicated inspectors that are now basically told to fuck off at the door.
Used to be they were trying to force people to pay for multiple tvs. Then in the 00s the reworded the licence so that even if you dont have a tv if you have a phone, laptop, computer, radio i, pod you have to buy a license. Blind people get £10 off their licence.
Now nobody is paying, too many to fine.
