Is Iran really a threat to the world or middle east? Or is all that just fear mongering from the U. S. and Israel? I mean, no doubt they are a pretty hard fundamentalist Islamic nation that has power and influence with their proxies, but are they as serious a threat as they have been made out to be over the years?

The Primary issue Arises from The Regime in Iran! And it's a Layered Problem!

Most of the Muslims which are converted are Sunni! Or Sun-ni - The Once who Heard and became Muslim!

Only Iran and Few communities in India & USA are Shia - The Original Descendants and relatives and Blood relative's who were Present with Mohammad in his clan when Islam was Established!

There is a Also a Conflict between - Shia & Sunni , Shia Don't consider Sunni as Real Muslim, Instead Shia Consider most Sunni as Slave muslim or Forced or Coerced into Islam!

USA is Calling Iran a Threat because the Entire terrorist Network is Using the Network pipeline of Iran! With it's Headquarters and Thinking Tank in Qutar (means to Slit one's Throat or to Chop)

Iran is Armed because Shia people need a Safe Place from the World and from Sun-ni muslims, in Pakistan look up, lot of Fued happens amoung Shia & Sunni muslims!. Including them Doing terrorist attacks on each other!

Shia are only around 15-20% of muslims around the world Rest are Sunni!.. Shia are malleable and More adaptable and don't strictly adhere to Quran, if something Does not Sit right, they are open to modification..

Sunni are more strict followers of Quran, and More of a Threat but they are Designed and kept like Pawns of War by Shia and Funded by Shia! Making Shia's Rich Royals of Muslim Community.

Real Problem - The Governments! - This entire Problem can be Solved if Government Ban Muslims me from Entering non Muslim Nation, Just like muslims Ban Non-Muslims from Entering their Area!

If Government wants they can Create Proper Borders but instead they Mix the people and cause Chemistry and conflicts amoung people, creating problems because more Problems means "MORE SIGNIFICANCE TO GOVERNMENT"

Look at Europe and America - They Imported 3rd world Garbage to torture their People, Because comfort make them weak!. Biggest Sign of their weakness is Women not having kids and Aborting all possible Kids!

In conclusion, Neither Iran is a Threat not USA nor Government!.

The Real Threat is Comfort that is Making People weak!. weaker People means Falling Population and a Dying Culture! And Government Cures that weak people by giving them Hard time, by inviting in the spare Pawn of War (Sunni Muslims).

Look at Poland, That Nation did not Became weak, They are Clear about their Culture and Proud of their Heritage, They selected correct PM and are Extremely RIGHT WING country!. I know all about the Shia - Sunni tension and division, yes. It was a big thing in the Iraq War. The U. S. went in there thinking it was going to be a cake walk but had almost no understanding of those cultural differences.

Are they a threat now? Yes, but it is our own fault. Things were mostly fine until Trump poked the bear. You can't just eliminate a country's Supreme Leader and expect them to go easy on you or not fight back.

I don't support the Iranian government at all they are terribly cruel to their own people. But their domestic issues weren't our business to interfere in. We should have stayed out of it. Because we didn't, taxpayer money is being wasted on this new war, and our soldiers are going to lose their lives over a mess that could have been completely avoided.
