Do you know that if a friend ONLY or MAINLY hits you up for favors than they aren't a friend, they are an acquaintance or just a leech?

Because TRUE friends hit you up other times AS WELL other than ONLY or MAINLY for favors. They hit you UP ALSO other times to see how you are doing to hang out, etc.

I agree completely. For a few months I worked with this guy who had a buddy to fix his car, a buddy to do his taxes, etc. After he left our company he called me up and asked me to fix his computer. When I declined because I valued my time away from work, he got all huffy and thankfully I never heard from him again. I don't need friends like him.

Here in America people call acquaintances friends too much too often. An acquaintance or a leech is someone that only or mainly hits you up for favors. Many people or most people don't even seem to think that anything is wrong with it because it is so common. Lol. Have you noticed that? Glad you cut that guy loose.

Once I stopped letting my friend take advantage of me and called him out why he hardly reached out for things that are not extreme events or favors he played the victim. I cussed him out, etc and he said I was being disrespectful. Stupid huh?
