From what I heard, definitely not!
I think I was one of only 10 people, if that, to attend university. There was this kid who was fluent in a dozen languages and even HE didn't become successful. He writes for a Socialist magazine that almost no one reads

My high school did not do superlatives. Many of the really smart kids really did not do much after high school.
