First, let’s be perfectly clear about the fact that most women seeking abortion have already ignored viable options. Abstinence is the single most effective pregnancy prevention method of all time. But too many people think that they are entitled to indulge in risky behaviors without facing the consequences of those risky behaviors. There are multiple other contraceptive methods that each of its own is highly effective, and the more methods you combine, the more protected you are. But that “spoils the mood” or whatever. So, once again, entitled to the thrill of unprotected sex but not responsible for the KNOWN results of unprotected sex.
Men who know they don’t want kids can have vasectomies. They’re reversible if they change their mind! If unprotected sex is an inexplicable absolute must, but you don’t want a baby, select for fixed males or those who will get fixed for you!

Then we get into actual “birth control”; the “morning after” pill and abortion. I don’t see an intrinsic problem with the abortion pill if it’s done right away.
My main problem with abortion as a “right” is the complete hypocrisy of the entire premise. If you kill a pregnant woman, you can and will be charged with two killings, even if it’s an accident. An unborn baby absolutely IS recognized as a living person worthy of protection under the law in EVERY SINGLE STATE AND OUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. “Pro choice” hypocrites really just want to give women yet another exclusive right where everyone else would be guilty of murder in no uncertain terms.
Either an unborn baby IS a person deserving of protection, or they’re not. No more of this Schrodinger’s baby logic where the baby is alive when mommy wants it, but it’s “just a clump of cells” when she doesn’t.
Finally, there is also adoption and foster care.
People ignore dozens of options in order to arrive at “unintended pregnancy”. They should 100% have to face consequences of that series of lousy choices. But since we primarily reflect on women in this issue, holding them accountable seems completely out of the question for about half of this country.

parents waiting to adopt have this crazy long wait. Please if you don't want your child give him to parents who do want and are waiting forever to adopt.

But some moms who don't want their baby, SAID she would rather he died than hear pro life opinions. Now that is even less justified than birth control.

Of course before pregnancy i recommend condom or other barrier diaphragm and better yet: wait until marriage. And commit "until death then part."

What about a religious tithes? 10% of your income into a fund taking care of adapted children.

Hypothetically there's zero chance of theft or sexual abuse that such programs historically have. There's a potential overwhelming positive sum game people could opt into and make it at least unethical to have an abortion. would people opt knowing it was perfect allocated funds because its the right thing to do or just punish people having sex?

Im not anti natalist. at least they aren't militant with government power like the evangelical block who actively push for Armageddon. Those are the scary people.

I donate to an organization that provides clothing, diapers, daycare etc to pregnant women and help them out throughout the pregnancy as well as free followup care as long as they need it with whatever they need. If they do get an abortion, there is free nonjudgmental counselling for as long as they need it. This organization views itself as truly pro-life where as most are just anti-abortion. Positive vibes only and they've been doing it for over 40 years.

I would offer her the same option that everyone has, the option to raise a healthy, happy child instead of becoming a murderer.

Failing that - offer the child for adoption, in the hope that somebody who really wanted the child would come along and adopt them. Adoption is far from ideal, but it's better than being dead.

She could give the child up for adoption or make sacrifices and raise her child.
