So you are in an environment where people have preconceived notions of you, and that narrative places you in a box where you can’t fully be yourself and limits your growth in many aspects of your life. When you try to break out of that barrier, it becomes a confirmation bias of that persona they placed you in. What would you do to break out?

If you cannot brush those labels off.
I could give less than a 💩 what most people think of me. It's not that i'm hardened or an a**hole. I'm actually quite friendly. But i know who i am. I don't care what label someonebody puts on me. Because odds are they're wrong. Most people never really take the time to understand the layers of most people and what makes them tick. They don't know me. So i'd laugh off whatever label they give me. They're only showing how foolish they are. So if you cannot brush those labels off like i would, go ahead and leave. Just know you haven't fixed the root problem which is your self worth. And until you fix that this could happen anywhere.
Psalm139:14 says that you are fearfully and wonderfully made
Which means God the creator of heaven an Earth took great love, care and respect when he made you. You are unique and precious to him. REMEMBER THAT whenever someone tries to minimize you with some label. What has that person ever created?😂👍💯
i'd leave
