Do you really care what this guy has been accused of?

I absolutely do not care what accusations have been made against him or what political party he belongs to. All I care about is what proof there is, or what lack of proof there is. Instinctively, I think he's being railroaded by lies from his ex-wife, but it's hard to know for sure. How about a little fact-finding instead of trial by social media?

Rep. Max Miller (R-Ohio) said Tuesday that he will seek a House ethics investigation into his own conduct as he faces allegations of domestic violence from his ex-wife.
“I am going to file my own paperwork for an ethics investigation into myself to clear my name from these horrific attacks on myself and family,” Miller wrote on X. “I have absolutely nothing to hide. We will be providing the committee all necessary documents needed for a detail examination.”


Emily Moreno, Miller’s ex-wife, has accused the congressman of physically hurting her and their 2-year-old daughter. Miller has long denied the allegations.

It's just like, law enforcement have domestic violence at a rate something like 4x or more than the average person. Most people who get a sense of "authority" are too entrenched in slave-master ways of thinking to have healthy families. ㅤ

Instinctively, as you put it, I would lean towards believing her as some republican men seem to have boundary issues and issues controlling their anger when they aren't getting their way. Petulant children if you will.

I do believe that proof needs to come out, but my initial reaction is to protect the child from a possible abuser.

it isn't really that interesting to learn that two DEM senatorial candidates dropped out of their races leaving their opponent unopposed. one even won her district after the fact.

i honestly don't understand the glimmer of hope though? why would the media report on this? if they were truly owned by people that want to control the narrative, then why?

You don't have limitless tax funds or power to throw anyone in jail. You only have yourself and a duty protect your own as much as anyone else like the accused.

The guy has a public office and needs to maintain a public relationship.

Look at Johnny Depp divorce and how he got a leg up on public opinion by shutting up and letting lawyer speak.
