• He's a moronic child of inherited wealth with zero empathy. As such he's never been in a grocery store or worried about a rent payment or college student loans.
• tRump is a malignant narcissist and a sociopath, not to mention a pathological liar. His stupidity has trashed the US economy with imbecile tariffs and pointless wars. He's added more to the national debt in 1.5 terms than any other president in history. What do you expect him to say about his own failures?

To what extent? We'd all agree it's OK for only a tiny percentage to be able to afford mansions but what about eggs? Or a visit to the dentist? And so on. At what point does it become unacceptable for a percentage of people to be unable to afford something?
