For those living on your own, when did you move out?

I moved at 23 officially.

Technically, I did at eighteen when I went for my first year of college. That's only 3/4 of the year but I am on my home other than summers and breaks. It is a nice way to get accustomed to being on your own but still being able to go home.

I only live an hours drive away from home when I am at school. So if I want to go home for the weekend it isn't hard. I probably do that a few times a school year

I lived 20 minutes from college. I commuted to save money on loans.

Hasn't happened yet, but I do wonder if I had moved out like everyone rushes to do - I would have been equally "missing out" on enjoying time with aging loved ones.

You either spend more time with aging folks while they're still here and not senile, or your spending it all wooing a girlfriend and going travelling, living together - I mean it's a trade off. I mean the chick could dump you, but family you know, you don't get that time twice ⌚⏰

I lived with my 4 yo. older boyfriend together since I was 16 and came just occasionally home. With 18 I got a home, yeah my parents were that generously. However I had to pay the bills. This wasn't easy just with side job in model agency at weekends parallel to study. Later as I got an internship as dentist, I started to earn money. I made in internship already more than average wage here.
To be self sufficient you need money and this isn't easy to obtain with zero skill in anything

I got my tenancy 2 weeks ago and plan to move in on 18th so currently doing so therefore 25
