Should Greece demand the return of the Elgin Marbles from Britain?

I saw the Marbles when I was in London at the British Museum, and was disgusted that the British were so arrogant as to STEAL the Marbles from the Parthenon and put them on display in their museum. Recently watched a film on the subject.

Wow. Now I get a tirade from a foreigner, about the civil war (the civil war started because WE wanted to retain our right to have slaves - WTF?) And then of course we - you and I today are to blame for the way the Indians in North America were ran off their land and put on reservations by our ancestors, 100 years ago. There is nothing more arrogant than a righteous American who has no idea about their own history and arrogance. Don't get me started on the reasons for the US Civil War (to maintain the right to own/treat black people as slaves) and the way you treated Native Americans in the mid-late 1800s.

Literally every piece of art displayed in the British Museum is stolen from other countries and their cultural heritage. They should be returned.
On another perspective, might we reconsider that the British might have a more secure system to preserve these arts we’re identifying as of other cultures today…?
