If you don't so much was there ever a conspiracy theory you thought was true? If so which one and why?

I love conspiracy theories. They are generally funny as hell. But there are sometimes a few nuggets of truth or reality in there too.

For example. You've probably seen me rail about the 1% here. Do I believe it exists? yes. Do I believe it's some secret cabal with membership cards and a secret handshake where a chosen few meet at a secret clubhouse to direct the affairs of humanity in something that looks like an evil "shadow government"? No, LOL.

It may not be some conscious conspiracy but wealthy people share common interests and and the power of extreme wealth. I'm sure (I've seen it), they rub shoulders at social or business events. They share thoughts and opinions. And generally they want to hold onto their wealth and power and get more if possible. Not exactly a revelation, right? They may not be acting in a formally unified way when they fund campaigns to elect the people who will vote for tax breaks for billionaires, less government regulation, a dismantling of a social safety net, or favorable capital gains taxes, or the same tax favorability for carried interest. But the outcome is the same. Lot's of people with wealth and power dumping lots of money into buying government and corrupting our laws to tilt the scales in their favor. Do these people think they are evil geniuses? No, they desperately want to believe they are good human beings. But are they absolutely a plague on society? Yes they are.

Wouldn't say I believe them to be true but I could see it being true, covers ups like Jfk and 9/11 are easy to understand.
The moon probably if we go by we did land on the moon just a bit later yet america wanted to claim they did before anyone.
Countries such as England, US are ran not by whatever leader you vote in, its ran by someone more powerful beyond them you'll never see or know. Front leaders have some power of course, do what they like mostly until it really steps on the real leaders toes. Its the smart option, have a fascist country ran by shadow leaders while front men pretend its not fascist and your vote matters.
Equally I also recognize the opposite theory that rich and ego idiots run the world and they want to be known and didn't think or want this.

Its 'any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice' to why I can see both. Maybe 9/11 was smart plot to encourage war or maybe people are idiots and made such bad security at airports nor did they ever think about what could happen...
Statistically people aren't smart so that one works however stats also would agree that in a government there has to be a select amount of high intellects within and naturally they'd design the system to be flawed on purpose so they could do this exact thing for how it benefits them. But eh it hurts my mind because the more smart thing to do is simply nothing at all so whom knows.

Weather modification and atmospheric spraying are real. People who are triggered by the term chemtrail are blind and ignorant.

Aluminum compounds are release in atmospheric spraying and those compounds are fire accelerants that contribute to massive forest fires.

Covid was planned, bioengineered in gain of function labs, and released into the public. The spread of hysteria was deliberate. Almost all deaths attributed to covid were in hospitals where effective care was banned and people were murdered with remdesivir. The nonsensical mandates were pre-planned to see how people would react. The jabs were designed to cause bodily harm.

I am eager to consider any and all so-called "conspiracy theories" in order to gather actual facts, not that I believe everything I hear. Some theories, after all, are nonsense and some are deliberately spread to create confusion and paralysis.
Hell, the most ridiculous conspiracy theories are those spread by government and mainstream media.

Many facts that were at one time mocked as being conspiracy theories have been proven to be true.

Using the word "conspiracy theory" is very dangerous for our society as a whole. The word "conspiracy theories" means that you automatically shut down other ideas of doubt and suspecion which results in people not being able to have second thoughts about certain problem area's.

The most important thing in society is that you doubt in fact everything that so being broadcast and told to you by others untill its a proven fact!
If you cannot have different ideas then the standard it becomes very easy to be lied to and be manipuled which is already happening for a long time now

I don’t automatically believe conspiracy theories, but I also don’t automatically dismiss every single one lol. History has shown that sometimes things that sound crazy at first turn out to have at least some truth behind them. I’m more of a “show me the evidence and I’ll decide” person lol…
