What do you mean by 'never joined in'? The US was never neutral in the European theatres. They were supplying materiel on a massive scale. I'm not a scholar of WWI, but frankly the outcome there would have been much the same without GI boots on the ground. Strategic bombing of German industry (with US materiel) and the Russian steamroller were what beat Hitler. Of course, without US boots, Stalin probably wouldn't have stopped at Berlin.

In the Pacific Theatre, the Japanese were bogged down somewhat in China, but then the parts of China they couldn't conquer weren't economic goals. My guess is that without the US Japan would have merrily established its Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere and held it for decades.

We should not have risked our crews in submarine dangers. Sell to u. k. on THEIR SHIPS and crews. Or better yet nutral. Don't sell weapons to soviet nor British.

Ww1 brits would conquer germany from turk side but in 1926 or 1927 without u. s. troops in france.

Ww2 assume u. s. did not join because not get attacked. Nazi would still lose to soviet if we sell to soviet. We sold to soviet. If not for our shipments: nazi rule to pacific. And strong enuf to invade briton. U. s. makes non aggression pact with nazi winner. But with no jews to unite germans the reich would crumble by 1955.

If I remember right, in WW1 the impact was symbolic.  And in WW2, USA was pushed into it by Japan, there was not much of a choice there... The declaration of war came from Japan.

WW2, for example, would have been won by the Axis Powers if the USA stayed neutral.  However, the North American continent wouldn't have been conquered by any of the Axis Powers.

So we're assuming every event would still happened, the U. S. just wouldn't join. I don't think Europe and the Middle East/Africa would've changed much. The Russians pretty much already took care of business with the Germans.

As for the Pacific, the U. S. would basically have to stand by and surrender. There's no doubt that Japan would have a few colonies in the Pacific. I'm not sure about Mainland USA though. But if we didn't fight back, who's to say we wouldn't be speaking Japanese right now. Unless we signed some kind of treaty.

Considering how important the U. S. is, and that we were ATTACKED, I honestly can't see a scenario where we don't get involved.

Well in both cases Germany still does not win. WWI would have continued to grind likely to a unlcear draw. The question is would there be a WW2 if The United States does not join WW1. I'm deliberately omitting mentioning the axis powers. Because the United States wouldn't have joined the war if Japan hadn't attacked Pearl Harbor. I assume the United States still chokes off Japan's oil and Japan still attacks the United States. If that case the United States would have only had to fight a war on one front if Hitler never comes to power in Germany. If by chance there was a second war in Europe and there were no axis powers. Germany still loses. Britain still holds and Russia still weathers the storm and repels the Nazi's but at a much higher cost in human life.

Very interesting question. Think about it. If the U. S. didn’t get involved in WWI there might not have been a WWII. The Germans would have won the First World War so no reason to fight a second one.
