Jimmy Carter was president decades before I was born but I remembered when he died in 2024 I saw lots of comments online saying things like he was a good man with good morals.

President Carter was the epitome of "an officer and a gentleman". He entered the US Naval Academy and graduated with distinction in 3 years. He's the only president to have ever attended the US Naval Academy. He had manners and class.

Compare that with the douchebag we have today, Donald Trump, who skipped military service when his father Fred coerced a doctor to say Donald had heel spurs so he couldn't enter military service. (Fred and Donald were the doctor's landlord; the doctor's office was in a Trump building.). So, skipping the military and the manners it teaches you, Trump grew up to be a douche who ”grabs 'em by the pussy".

1000%. He didn't get us into any wars. He didn't enrich himself in office. He didn't aggrandize himself. He was humble, moral, and followed the teachings of Christ. He remained true to his wife.
After leaving office he donated his time as a manual laborer building houses for the homeless for 35 years with Habitat for Humanity.

From what I have seen and read, Jimmy was a genuinely good person. Trump is not.
