Transportation is transportation & if your bike gets you to where you need to go in a safe manor that is all that counts. I don’t frown upon people who ride bikes but what I do frown upon are the gas prices when I’m filling my vehicle up.

Maybe you need a bicycle too, but more like an electric bike. I know in California, almost everyone rides these electric bikes and scooters. They can do some good speeds too. And gas prices there are over $5 a gallon so you save a lot of money too.

@NoDecision you are right I do need a bicycle, I need a new one because my old one is shot & I only ride it around my development now. I used to take it everywhere & I used to love riding it on the beach. Where I live although there are bike lanes it’s too dangerous. As for electric bikes I have never been on one & I love when I’m driving & I see fat kids on them & I now I wonder why they are fat. No electric for me, I prefer exercise.

No.. why should I? Some people don’t have money to buy or sustain a car. Riding a bike is just a means of transportation.
