Instead, Republicans understand that the top 2% of earners pay about 40% of all tax money, which means they are already paying a lot, and if you try to attack them further with even more taxes, they are simply going to leave and go somewhere that isn't attacking them, and they'll take ALL of their tax revenue with them, and often take their whole company including all of their payroll taxes with them too.

This is exactly what is happening in Washington, Oregon, California, and New York right now. And so who will those states come for next? That's right, the middle class. Because of course no state will ever spend less, or even waste less. We've seen this play out many times before and it always goes the same way, but no one ever seems to remember the lesson, because they aren't interested in success, only expanding their own power.

Republicans are also fed up with the 40% of working age adults in the US who don't work or pay taxes at all - instead they live off other taxpayers, simply because they are lazy and/or have found a way to scam the system.

Republicans clearly lie a lot, equating not paying FEDERAL taxes (because they don't earn enough money) to people not working (unemployment is between 4 and 7%, depending on how it's measured).

Billionaires can afford whatever they want, but they also know when something becomes a bad investment. They get rid of it. You didn't address the fact that both state and city tax revenues are down substantially because so many wealthy people have left NYC, and that means the middle class will end up paying for the shortfall.

And you talk about the unemployment rate, but you DO realize that that's not a real number, because it only counts people that are actively looking for a job, and not the entire population?

Nearly 27% of working age US adults (this eliminates children, retirees, and the disabled) do not work in any capacity. Women are slightly more represented, but more than 40% of these are men, and while some of the women are stay-at-home moms, plenty are not. These are adults who do not work, and plenty have never had a job. Most live off of some form of government assistance, and fraudulent assistance is very common. Because these people aren't actively seeking jobs, they do not appear in unemployment stats.

None of this is new or hidden. When LBJ significantly expanded welfare under his Great Society program, that was the beginning of generational welfare for a lot of people

Guy, the majority of Republicans make less than 120k per year, which with inflation, that's probably enough to raise one child comfortably now.

We vote for republicans on moral principles, namely that you should not murder your own child and you should not be nor promote homosexuality, and that you should actually work for a living instead of expecting the government to pay for your living indefinitely.

This has been explained to you people, but for some reason you act like you cannot understand it.

There is no such thing as a free living that the lying Democrats keep promising people. Even the Bible tells you that if you don't work you shouldn't eat.

You haven't proven him guilty of anything. "Secret witnesses" are illegal for reason: Because anybody can tell a lie when their identity is secret. The Democrats broke the law when they twice tried to impeach Trump based on "secret witnesses". the Constitution is clear that the defendant has a right to FACE his accusers in a fair trial, and he even has a right to cross-examine them. You can't cross examine "secret witnesses", because they don't exist.

No. Because i have republican ideals. And in theory the free market should regulate itself. But as i've gotten older i do see instances where that either cannot or will not happen. And that's where gov't comes in.

Also some things should NEVER be for profit. Among them is education and healthcare. And you're talking to a guy who just sold stock in United Healthcare last month for a sizeable profit. Problem is there is simply no will to fix it (healthcare). Healthcare employs too many people.

The REALITY is in every political system since the rise of civilization there has been a rich or ruling class. Communism and socialisim de-incentivizes innovation and hardwork. And unchecked Captialism stifles innovation and creates monopolies.
