I can't speak for misogyny but I can speak for feminism because I am a woman and because I am reading a lot about the roots of feminism. I am a pragmatist and I beleive that what we see today is extreme and far from the origins. Women gave their lives to fight for their rights in a time in which men suffocated women imprisoning them in the role of a submissive silent partner. But if it weren't for those women who fought for a room of one's own the women of today wouldn't have the freedom they have. I beleive that what we see today in terms of the movement is a bit too much just because I think everything man does he does it for the women in his life and those he potentially wishes to have in his life and woman does everything for the men in their present and future life. Life is hard for women and life is hard for men. But if one gender were not to exist what would humans be living and fighting for? So I think it's time we ended this game of power where we fall into the trap of our egos telling us to hate each other just because we take it as an affront when we're not needed which isn't a refusal. Power should be shared and there are things men are better at doing like there are things women are better at doing. We need each other. So we should be talking instead of attacking. And i don't think placing feminism or misogyny and ignorance in the same sentence is a great idea.

Generally misandry, misogyny are emotion driven defense mechanics for some other problems.
By the way feminism isn't necessary about keeping women high by pushing men down. It appears in media that way because there some individual try to exploit and to link feminism to propagate their agendas to subvert societies. Some women are foolish enough to drive on this train that is setup to be derailed if this aggressive ideology isn't needed anymore.

They are a natural byproduct of what has become normal.

It is normal to modify behavior instead of addressing what causes the behavior. When you do that, no matter how good you try, something always ruins it. As such, scapegoating becomes normal.

Misandry and misogyny are results of scapegoating. ㅤ
