You fail to see that social animals intrinsically belong. That is really a self definition.

We see many things that we belong to. First our immediate family. Friendship groups, and extended family, local community up to country and genetic grouping. Of course the most important are husband and wife pairings because they are essential economic pairings.

Husbands belong to their wives as wives belong to their husbands. What you are saying is to deny intrinsic social dependency that is hardwired into. Trying to impose some logic framework onto our deeply instinctual brains is never going to finish well.

If we want our cat to come upstairs, calling him rarely works. But if we talk for a few minutes, he'll be bounding up the stairs. He comes then, because he is a social animal and wants to belong and isn't belonging if he remains downstairs.

Not accepting belonging is rejecting adulting. Failing adulthood is the major pysch problem the Left has. Hence the Left predilection for chanting like small children playing a game.
