Women, do you consider yourself a feminist and/or do you believe a patriarchy is oppressing you?

I used to consider myself a feminist, especially in high school and university. But I have distanced myself from that because I feel like feminism has been going in a bad direction and it is doing more harm than good. I mean I am grateful for the rights and opportunities I have as a woman because of real feminism from decades ago. But today's feminism is not that anymore, and I can't feel god about supporting it.

Do I feel oppressed by patriarchy? No. I live in the US and I am not oppressed. There is no patriarchy here. Yes there are differences between men and women and we both have our unique challenges and privileges, but that is not patricarchy. I think the term is overused in a divisive way.

and I'm not trying to prove that all women are feminists, or that they feel oppressed by men, I'm more going for the opposite

(it was from a post asking which gender has it worse basically, and this guy believes that men have it waayy worse, while i think its an endless, infinite debate, that will always continue because neither gender completely understands the other (and i think both genders have it roughly equal)
