Oh, I've enjoyed my share of luck and help from people I've met or just good timing. But there's also an element of recognizing opportunity and being willing to take the risks and do the hard work and make the sacrifices necessary to turn those opportunities into success. I didn't win the lottery.

Now that is all on how you define being lucky. I had 2 near death experiences by the time I was 16. How is that for being unlucky. I shouldn't have survived either of them. But I guess I may be lucky because I am still here all these years later.
